Hello, thank you for visiting!

I’m Matt Phillips!

An inspiring photographer who enjoys honoring my Grandpa Jack McLellan who will always be known as incredible and creative artist plus capturing God’s beautiful creations in ways that makes me smile to share with you.

I had a paper route in Seattle when I was 8 years old, I took all the money I earned to purchase a new 35mm film camera.

That summer my dad and I took a 6-week road trip in his green 1976 Toyota Landcruiser to Redfish Lake in Stanley Idaho, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. In that 6 week of travel, we slept in tents every night except one. We listened to Blues, saw so many animals and beautiful sites along the way. If it wasn’t for my dad taking me hiking as a kid plus that trip, I’m not sure If my interest’s would be the same today. Trip of a lifetime!

Today I have a full-time job which keeps me very busy, but my boss is pretty amazing to give me the time to go out to capture and experience the places I love to photograph and hike. Some of the shots you see I drove across country as some are only a full day’s drive from my place in Washington state. I put thousands of miles on the Tacoma to venture out to my favorite spots each year.

This is a new adventure for me, selling my photo’s. I appreciate your support. Hopefully see you out there experiencing the great outdoors as I do.
